While most of India and Bangladesh are sweltering hot, the people there don’t let that stop them from skating. They might be at work in the morning, then hit up their local skate spot after work, and then go home to sleep before starting it all over again the next day! To help you know where these places are and which ones to check out, here are some great spots to take in the sights and enjoy some fun skating time with your friends!



1) Kolkata: Park Street

Park Street is a popular tourist destination in Kolkata. The street is full of restaurants, clubs, hotels, shops, roadside food stalls, and many other attractions. It has many amenities that are not seen in other parts of the city.



2) Guwahati: Paltan Bazaar Skating Rink

Guwahati, the capital city of Assam, is located in the north-east region of India. The city is often referred to as a gateway to Northeast India and has emerged as an important economic hub in the recent years. The city was added to the list of smart cities this year which makes it a must visit place for tourists. One such landmark in Guwahati is Paltan Bazaar skating rink which opened recently in 2016.



3) Chennai: Mint Ice Arena

One of the first major skate spots you will encounter when entering from NH5, Makar Sankranti is a dirt spot with an assortment of ledges to grind on.



5) Delhi NCR: Dilshad Garden & Lodhi Garden

Dilshad Garden, located in Delhi NCR, is a green oasis in the midst of the concrete jungle. The spot itself is quite small with a couple of ledges, but it offers a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of Delhi. Lodhi Garden, on the other hand, has plenty of space to skate with many different parts to explore.
